Sometimes it is unavoidable for us to adhere to the attendance Bylaws. Therefore members may be granted a leave of absence, upon approval by the Board of Directors, when that situation occurs.
Please complete the information below and give it to the President or a member of the Board before the end of the month prior to your Leave:

Reason for Leave:_________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________1. The time period must cover at least three (3) consecutive meetings but not more four (4) meetings.
2. LOA has not been granted in the prior six (6) months.
3. Member must be a Member in Good Standing.
This Board of Directors desires that each member reap the full benefit of membership in LeTip. That benefit comes from attending all the meetings. The reason for the above Bylaw section cited above is that it is recognized that occasionally absence is unavoidable. While attendance is mandatory and termination results if requirements are not met, the Leave of Absence Policy is not meant to be utilized as a way to continue membership and have only minimal attendance.
